Welcome and introductions

Critical thinking isn't what you think it is.

Thinking boxes

When is it important to critically think? Hint: you can’t do it all the time.

Nudge! The game.

How to empower individuals, lead people, and motivate teams.

Putting it into practice

How do we take our critical thinking skills home with us and improve them?

Each session is highly interactive and tailored to your needs. Participants may be asked to submit content ahead of time. A subset of these is chosen to discuss in small groups. This workshop is part of fassforward's Experience Series.

Your Challenge:

“We mindlessly follow process, even when it’s obvious that it won’t turn out well.”

Critical thinking allows us to create an outcome when there is no obvious action. We want to accomplish something but don’t know how, so before we can act, we must think.

In this half-day Critical Thinking workshop, learn how to think outside of the box. Using a series of questioning, creative, problem-solving nudges, look at the problem through new eyes. Reframe your thinking by taking small steps to move from problem-solving to outcome-creating.

At the end of the workshop, participants will:

  • Understand when we need to critically think and why.

  • Learn how creativity and critical thinking is based on a series of small nudges, not a big 'Aha!'.

  • Use a 3-step critical thinking process that reframes problems and moves you to action.

Professional skills gained:

  • Decision Making

  • Action Planning

  • Project Management

Develop your critical thinking muscle.
